Bicycle Paths in Marmaris are Being Renovated, Safety is Increasing
Marmaris Municipality is continuing road construction works in Beldibi and Turunç while also renewing bicycle paths. Safety and comfort in transportation are increasing.
Marmaris Municipality continues road construction, maintenance, and repair works at full pace to strengthen the transportation infrastructure of the district. The Directorate of Technical Affairs teams work intensively in the field to produce rapid solutions to the needs arising from the increased population and tourist density during the summer season, making the transportation network in the neighborhoods safer and more comfortable.
Concrete Road Work Started in Beldibi
The municipal teams have started concrete road construction works on 76th Street in Beldibi Neighborhood. Although it was designated as a road in the zoning plan, the dirt road, which had been used on a different route for many years, was relocated to its planned position and reorganized. After grading and roadside ditching works were completed, concrete road production began in the area.
New 800-Meter Transportation Line
Within the scope of the project, fully carried out by Marmaris Municipality’s own teams and equipment, an 800-meter long concrete road is being constructed over a total area of 5,600 square meters. Upon completion, the project aims to make transportation in the area safer, more orderly, and comfortable.
Road Works Completed in Turunç Neighborhood as Well
The Directorate of Technical Affairs teams continue road construction not only in Beldibi but also in Turunç Neighborhood. The works carried out to meet the transportation needs of the residents have improved the road quality in the area.
Bicycle Paths are Being Renewed
As part of the ongoing works citywide, maintenance and renewal activities continue on the city’s bicycle paths. Teams are installing bollards and making adjustments on bicycle paths to both increase riding safety and promote more effective use of alternative transportation networks.
Marmaris Municipality aims to continue investments to strengthen transportation infrastructure across the district, ensuring residents and visitors experience safer and more comfortable transportation.
