Marmaris Municipality continues its efforts for environmental cleanliness and order against the increased congestion with the summer season at the Yacht Marina, one of the district's most important attractions.

The teams from the Police Directorate and Cleaning Services Directorate informed the tradesmen operating in the area about environmental cleanliness, garbage collection hours, storage of waste, and recycling rules.

Reminder Made to Tradesmen and Boat Operators

The police teams of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality also supported the efforts. The metropolitan teams conducted information activities for boats at the Yacht Marina.

During visits, necessary reminders were made regarding preventing environmental pollution that may occur during peak hours, avoiding occupation of pedestrian areas, and delivering waste at designated times.

Penalties Will Be Enforced for Those Who Do Not Comply with the Rules

It was stated that efforts to keep the Yacht Marina, which hosts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year, clean, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing will continue throughout the season.

Municipal officials indicated that penal actions will be taken against individuals and businesses who do not comply with environmental and order regulations.
