Waste papers turned into art in Köyceğiz
The 'Paper's Transformation Journey' Exhibition, consisting of works prepared by the trainees of the Public Education Center Handicrafts and Recycling Workshop in Köyceğiz district of Muğla during a winter, was opened to visitors with a ceremony.
In the exhibition, newspapers and various waste papers collected with recycling awareness were transformed by the trainees' handiwork into baskets, decorative products, and beautiful accessories. The works, where materials seen as waste are reborn through art and production, were examined with interest by visitors.

At the event showcasing the products of the studies carried out within the scope of Lifelong Learning activities, the environmental importance of recycling and the value of the producer were emphasized once again. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for the trainees to share the knowledge and skills they acquired with the community. At the opening of the exhibition, the works presented by the trainees received great appreciation, and the best examples of handiwork, patience, and productivity met with the visitors.
