Master actor Haluk Bilginer is preparing to meet with theater lovers in Muğla with the globally acclaimed play “The Father” (Le Père).
Written by Florian Zeller, translated by Ezgi Coşkun, and directed by Muharrem Özcan, the one-act play “The Father” will be staged on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 8:30 PM.
A Journey on the Borders of Forgetting and Remembering
The play, which explores the processes where reality and fantasy, yesterday and today, and the bond between father and daughter dissolve and intermingle, invites the audience to rethink the meaning of being human against the passage of time. The production, telling the story of a father (Erdil) lost in the labyrinths of his mind and his daughter (Azra) who witnesses this process, stands out with its touching language.
In the play, master artist Haluk Bilginer is accompanied by successful names such as Özlem Zeynep Dinsel, Faruk Barman, Ezgi Coşkun, Mine Nur Şen, and Ufuk Tevge along with a large ensemble cast.
