Attention to the weekend. 45-degree alarm
Our country will be scorching next week. Temperatures felt in many regions will approach 45 degrees along with humidity. Especially those with chronic conditions such as heart and blood pressure need to be more careful.
The heatwave that has broken record after record and scorched Europe will come to Turkey next week.
Air temperatures, which are 1-2 degrees above seasonal normals, will suddenly increase by 5-6 degrees over the weekend.
In Muğla, the highest temperature is expected to be 40-41 degrees in Milas, while in districts like Seydikemer, Bodrum, Ortaca, Köyceğiz it is expected to be 38-39, and in Fethiye, Dalaman, Yatağan, Marmaris around 37-38 degrees.

METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK
According to the latest evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology: the northern and eastern parts of our country will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy in places; coastal areas of Western and Central Black Sea, Eastern Black Sea, eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia as well as areas around Kastamonu and Tokat will have local showers and thunderstorms; other areas will be mostly clear and sunny.
TEMPERATURE: Temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in the northeast and eastern parts of the country, and 2 to 5 degrees above normal in other regions.
WIND: Generally from the north, light to occasionally moderate wind from southern directions in the southeast; strong and short-lived storms (40-70 km/h) expected in southern and western Marmara, northern Aegean coasts, northern Eastern Mediterranean, southern and eastern Central Anatolia and western Eastern Anatolia.
WARNINGS
HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Since rainfall is expected to be locally heavy around Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, and coasts of Artvin, caution and precautions should be taken against possible adverse conditions.
STRONG WIND WARNING: Since wind is expected to blow strongly and as short-lived storms (40-70 km/h) from northern directions in southern and western Marmara, northern Aegean coasts, northern Eastern Mediterranean, southern and eastern Central Anatolia, and western Eastern Anatolia, attention and precautions should be taken to possible adverse events.
