The fire, which started around 07:45 on Wednesday, July 29, in Bayır Neighborhood of Seydikemer district and spread rapidly to the forested area due to strong winds, has been intensely intervened from air and land for more than 24 hours. As a result of the efforts that continued throughout the night, the progress of the fire was largely stopped, and teams continued their work uninterruptedly overnight to gain full control. With the resumption of aerial vehicles in the early morning hours, firefighting efforts accelerated. The intensive struggle of the teams by air and land continues to fully control the fire.

In the affected areas, some houses were rendered unusable, and tractors were completely burned and turned into scrap. It was noted that many trees were turned to ashes in the areas where the flames were effective, and a wide forest area was covered in black.
While teams continue their work tirelessly in the area, the investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
