International success from the little voices of Fethiye: Likya Children's Choir returned from Hungary with an award
Likya Children's Choir, operating under the Fethiye District Directorate of National Education, achieved significant success by representing Turkey successfully at an international choir festival held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Prepared by Choir Conductors Nur Sarpdere Tat and Ayşegül Ülgen along with accompanist Mustafa Devrim Yüksel, the Likya Children's Choir performed as the only children's choir representing Turkey at the 5th Budapest International Choral Celebration – International Open Competition & Grand Prix of Choral Music organization.
36 CHOIRS FROM 20 COUNTRIES COMPETED
At the prestigious event attended by 36 choirs from 20 countries around the world, students from Fethiye proudly represented both Turkey and the Muğla and Fethiye regions with their successful performances.
Evaluated by an international jury, the Likya Children's Choir earned the right to receive the Silver Diploma through their outstanding performance, achieving an important international success.
