Great support from citizens to the fire area in Fethiye
Following the emergency support call made by Fethiye Municipality, citizens are heading to Çatalarık Yeni Mahalle Social Facilities. Fire extinguishers, primarily, as well as water, ayran, masks, and various needed supplies are being delivered to the fire area.
The emergency support call made by Fethiye Municipality due to the ongoing forest fire in Yeşilüzümlü Neighborhood was responded to quickly. Citizens started coming to Çatalarık Yeni Mahalle Social Facilities to deliver fire extinguishers and various needed supplies for use in the fire area.
A citizen who handed over one of the fire extinguishers from their home expressed great sorrow about what happened, saying, "We are very sorry about this situation. We had two fire extinguishers at home. I immediately brought one. Hopefully, the fire will be extinguished soon. Many lives were lost there, and people are in a difficult situation. As the public, we are very sorry. We are always by the side of our teams and our government."
At the collection point established to meet the needs of the teams fighting the fire, citizens support with fire extinguishers as well as water, ayran, masks, and basic necessities. The collected materials are delivered to the teams working at the fire site in Yeşilüzümlü.
