Transformer Failure in Fethiye: Power Outage in the Market and Surrounding Areas
Due to a transformer failure in Kesikkapı Neighborhood of Fethiye, power outages occurred in many locations, especially in the market area in the district center. The failure that occurred during midday negatively affected market tradespeople and residents, and some businesses temporarily halted operations due to the outage.
Following the power outage, teams initiated an inspection in the area and started working to fix the fault. Authorities stated that technical teams are working intensively on-site to restore the energy flow. In the affected areas, residents faced difficulties in continuing their daily tasks, and especially businesses operating with electricity experienced short-term disruptions. It was learned that the teams are continuing their work without interruption, and after the fault is resolved, electrical energy is expected to be gradually restored to the affected areas.
