As temperatures in Fethiye rose above seasonal norms, citizens preferred not to go outside during the noon hours. The 3rd Stage Coastal Strip, which receives intensive interest especially from walkers and those wanting to cool off in the evening hours, was empty during the hottest hours of the day.
Due to the effect of the hot weather, the coast was almost deserted, and it was observed that citizens preferred shaded areas and indoor venues. Experts remind that, during the noon hours when the sun is most intense, people should avoid going outside unless necessary and consume plenty of fluids.
