July 15 Democracy and National Unity March Held in Fethiye
A march program was held within the scope of commemoration events organized in the district on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. The march, which started from Beşkaza Square, was attended by District Governor Fatih Akkaya, district protocol, representatives of public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations, and a large number of citizens.

The march carried out with Turkish flags commemorated with mercy and gratitude the heroes who were martyred in the July 15 treacherous coup attempt.

Speaking at the program, where messages of unity and togetherness stood out, District Governor Akkaya said, “The only guide we have in this heavenly homeland, the greatest legacy left to us by our martyrs, is: The supremacy of law, national will, and a fully independent Republic of Turkey!” They once again demonstrated their determination to protect democracy and national will by marching as one heart along the designated route.

District Governor Fatih Akkaya and the district protocol came together with citizens throughout the march and created meaningful images emphasizing that July 15 should not be forgotten and must be passed on to future generations. The program concluded in unity and solidarity with the intense participation of citizens.
