Fethiye Starts the New Week with 36 Degrees

According to the weather forecast report dated Monday, July 27, 2026, published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather in the district is expected to be hot, with temperatures ranging between 23 and 36 degrees.
In Fethiye, where the busiest days of the summer season are experienced, it is expected that the activity will increase especially in coastal areas and tourist spots due to the high temperatures. It is predicted that local and foreign tourists will prefer the sea to cool off at Ölüdeniz, Çalış Beach, Göcek bays, and surrounding beaches.
Warning for noon hours
According to meteorological data, temperatures are expected to reach their highest levels especially between 11:00 and 16:00. Experts emphasize that during these hours when the sun rays are direct, people should avoid staying outdoors for long periods, consume plenty of fluids, and take protective measures against the sun.
Elderly people, children, and citizens with chronic illnesses are advised to be more careful against the adverse effects of the hot weather.
Tourism density continues
In Fethiye, where the summer holiday season continues, it is expected that the crowds at beaches, bays, and boat tours will continue along with the hot weather.
Meteorology officials reported that the heatwave is expected to persist throughout the week and reminded citizens to follow the latest weather forecasts.
