39.5 Million Lira Road Investment Continues at Fethiye Wholesale Market

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues the road and superstructure works it started in the Wholesale Market Area located in Karaçulha Neighborhood of Fethiye. Within the scope of the investment of approximately 39 million 500 thousand lira, both the roads inside the market are being renewed and the infrastructure of the region is being modernized.

Works Continue Within the Wholesale Market

Within the scope of the project, plant mix base laying, manhole elevation works, and a total of 20,000 square meters of paving installation continue inside the Wholesale Market. The teams are working intensively on site to ensure the works progress according to the planned schedule.

Metropolitan Aims to Create a Long-lasting Transportation Infrastructure

On Hal Street, which provides access to the Wholesale Market, plant mix base laying and the first layer of hot asphalt paving have been completed, while the sidewalk and second layer of hot asphalt paving are ongoing. Within the scope of the project, rainwater grate installations will also be implemented. With the completion of the works, the aim is to establish a safer, more comfortable, and long-lasting transportation infrastructure in the area.

Tradesman Köse: “We, as Tradesmen, Find This Investment Very Valuable”

Tradesman Taner Köse, who said the current road condition was bad, expressed that they will have safe transportation with the completion of the renewal works. Köse stated,

“We, as tradesmen, find this investment very valuable. Our previous road was damaged. We had been using the same road for 20 years. This is the first time work has been done. We will be free from dust and dirt. I thank everyone who contributed, especially our Mayor Ahmet.”
