Keşanlı Ali Destanı received full marks from the audience at Fethiye Cultural Center
Students of Fethiye Municipal Science High School Nobel Theater Club staged 'Keşanlı Ali Destanı', one of the unforgettable works of Turkish theatre, at the Fethiye Cultural Center. Directed by Emine Erdoğan Tekeli, the play penned by master writer Haldun Taner received full marks from the audience.
The Nobel Theater Club of Fethiye Municipal Science High School brought the play "Keşanlı Ali Destanı", considered a masterpiece of Turkish theater, to art lovers at the Fethiye Cultural Center. The audience filling the hall watched the students' successful performances with great admiration and applauded the actors standing for a long time at the end of the play.
Directed by Emine Erdoğan Tekeli, the play drew attention with its powerful narrative that blended social criticism with humor and music. The work, penned by one of the doyens of Turkish theater Haldun Taner, was brought back to life with the young actors' energy and impressive performances on stage.
After months of preparation, the students had the opportunity to showcase their acting skills on stage, as well as convey the unifying power of theater to the audience.
The meticulous work in décor, costumes, and stage setup also received full marks from the viewers. The students who took the stage as future artists did not make professional theater actors feel lacking with their performance.
