According to the latest weather forecast report from the General Directorate of Meteorology, hot weather will continue to prevail in the Fethiye district of Muğla on Friday, July 3, 2026. While the temperature in the district is expected to rise up to 35 degrees, experts warned that special care should be taken against sunstroke especially during noon hours.
According to meteorological data, warm and sunny weather will prevail throughout the day in Fethiye. The air temperature, expected to be measured at 24 degrees in the morning hours, will rise from noon onwards and reach 35 degrees. It is estimated that the perceived temperature may be higher due to the increase in humidity. Since the weather conditions are suitable for sea tourism, it is anticipated that domestic and foreign tourists will head to coastal areas and beaches.Warning Against Sunstroke from Experts
Meteorology experts advised citizens to stay in the shade as much as possible between 11:00 and 16:00 when the sun's rays are most effective.
It was stated that especially the elderly, children, those with chronic illnesses, and those working outdoors should take precautions against the hot weather, recommending drinking plenty of water, preferring light-colored clothing, and using sunscreen products.

Authorities reminded that the risk of forest fires increases due to hot weather and low humidity, urging citizens not to light fires in forested areas, not to leave glass and flammable materials, and not to discard cigarette butts in nature.
