Fethiye Weather on July 1, 2026: Hot Weather Continues to Prevail

According to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather in Fethiye on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, will be slightly cloudy and hot. While the temperature is expected to reach 34 degrees, experts warned that special care should be taken against sunstroke especially during midday hours.

According to meteorological data, the air temperature in Fethiye will hover around 24 degrees in the morning and will increase its effect from noon onwards, reaching 34 degrees. With the rise in humidity, it is stated that the perceived temperature may reach higher values.

High Crowds Expected at Beaches and Tourist Spots in Fethiye

Along with the hot weather in Fethiye, it is expected that there will be crowds in tourism centers such as Ölüdeniz, Çalış Beach, Göcek, Kayaköy, Gemiler Bay, and Katrancı Nature Park.

Due to favorable weather conditions for sea tourism, both local and foreign tourists are expected to head to coastal areas.

Experts Warn Against Sunstroke

Meteorology experts recommend that citizens do not stay directly under the sun for long periods during the hours between 11:00 and 16:00, when the sun's rays are at their steepest angle.

Experts noted that especially the elderly, children, and people with chronic illnesses should be more careful about the hot weather, advising high water consumption, choosing light-colored clothing, and using sunscreen products.

Authorities also drew attention to the increased risk of forest fires with rising temperatures, calling for no fires to be lit in forested areas and to avoid behaviors that could cause fires.
