Yörük enthusiasm at Düzeyn Plateau: Big applause for CHP Fethiye Women's Branch team
The 17th International Muğla Yörük Türkmen Festival held at Düzeyn Plateau hosted by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality attracted great attention with its cultural richness and colorful events. The CHP Women's Branch Folk Dance Team, which performed during the festival, received full marks from the audience with their performance.

The 17th International Muğla Yörük Türkmen Festival organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality to preserve Muğla's deep-rooted cultural values and pass them on to future generations featured a variety of colorful events over two days.

The event held at Düzeyn Plateau brought together Yörük and Türkmen communities not only from the Turkish World but also from different regions of Turkey, becoming an important meeting point where cultural heritage is kept alive.

The CHP Women's Branch Folk Dance Team, performing during the festival, created unforgettable moments for the audience. The team, directed by Mehmet Yönder, successfully performed the "Sarıca da Buğday Tanesi" dance unique to Fethiye, earning great admiration. Women, who drew attention with their traditional costumes and harmonious performances, received long applause from spectators. CHP Muğla Provincial President Nail Kızıl also attended the event and met with the citizens.

Alongside folk dance shows, various events, concerts, and cultural programs reflecting traditional lifestyle culture were also held at the festival organized to preserve, promote, and pass down Yörük culture to future generations. Participants embarked on a cultural journey in the natural atmosphere of Düzeyn Plateau and had the opportunity to closely experience Yörük-Türkmen traditions.
