Datça Hastanealtı Beach successfully met international environmental and cleanliness criteria and flew the Blue Flag again this year.
Possessing a unique nature and clear sea, Hastanealtı Beach, one of the most popular spots in the district center of Datça, confirmed its quality again this year.

The beach, which received full marks in inspections conducted by the Turkish Environmental Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV), preserved its "Blue Flag" award and raised its flag again with a ceremony. Successfully meeting all international criteria such as sea water cleanliness, environmental management, life safety, and appropriate service quality, Hastanealtı Beach is one of the main destinations where domestic and foreign tourists can safely swim this season. The placements of straw umbrellas have also been completed so that citizens can use the beach free of charge.

In statements made at the ceremony, it was emphasized that the Blue Flag certification is not only a prestige but also a reward for Datça's joint effort to protect natural heritage. Together with Hastanealtı Beach, Blue Flags waved at a total of 4 beaches across Datça. Datça shores, with their crystal-clear sea, are ready to welcome their guests in the new season as well.
