Critical visit from Chinese Ambassador Jiang Xuebin to Fethiye: Tourism and cooperation on the table
In the 55th year of diplomatic relations between Turkey and the People's Republic of China, Jiang Xuebin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, visited Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca.
The visit is considered one of the most important steps in the cultural, touristic, and local diplomacy relations developed between Fethiye and China in recent years.
A welcoming ceremony was held in front of the municipal service building for Jiang Xuebin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara. Mayor Karaca presented flowers to Ambassador Xuebin.
KARACA, “OUR COOPERATION WILL CONTINUE”
Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca expressed his pleasure in hosting him in Fethiye. Mayor Karaca said, “Dear Ambassador, when I went to Ankara with my consultant and deputy mayor, they truly welcomed us very well. I thank them for the hospitality they showed us in Ankara. We are together for increasing Fethiye-China relations, tourism, and cultural partnerships. Turkey and China are two rooted civilizations whose paths have crossed throughout history, whose cultures have intertwined, enriching each other with commerce, art, thought, and human relationships. I thank Chinese Ambassador to Ankara Jiang Xuebin and his team, who honored us by visiting us today.”
Jiang Xuebin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ankara, stated, “I came for this visit for our esteemed Mayor Alim Karaca. They visited us. We will discuss many areas with him. I thank them for hosting us so sincerely.”
The meeting addressed the friendly relations between Turkey and China, cultural collaborations, and joint projects that can be developed at the local government level.
