“The Juggler's Funeral” Performed in Muğla

Bodrum Municipality City Theatre met with theater lovers in Muğla with the play titled “The Juggler's Funeral” staged as part of the tour program. Before the highly attended performance, the master of Turkish theatre, Zihni Göktay, was also commemorated.

Bodrum Municipality City Theatre presented the play titled “The Juggler's Funeral” to art lovers in Muğla as part of its tour program.

Supported by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the play was staged on the evening of July 8 at the Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Culture Center, starting at 20:30. The performance, which attracted intense interest from Muğla theater lovers, was praised for the acting performances and stage narration.

Zihni Göktay Commemorated with Applause

Before the performance, a commemoration was held for Zihni Göktay, one of the doyens of Turkish theatre who recently passed away.

The career and the mark left on the performing arts of the master artist, who contributed significantly to Turkish theatre over the years, were recalled. Art lovers in the hall joined the commemoration with applause. It had been announced that Göktay's death news was conveyed by his family.
