Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has started work to renew the 2,500-meter drinking water booster line in Milas Pınarköy.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has initiated work to renew the drinking water booster line that has reached the end of its economic life in Milas' Pınarköy Neighborhood as part of its infrastructure investments.

In the work carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality teams, the 2,500-meter booster line in the region will be renewed. It is aimed to prevent malfunctions in the existing line and to make the infrastructure stronger.

The work started under the instructions of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras to strengthen infrastructure systems and make them more sustainable aims to make the drinking water service in Pınarköy and its surroundings safer.

It was stated that interventions to malfunctions occurring in the old booster line passing through parcels belonging to citizens were sometimes difficult. It was expressed that this situation caused loss of both time and workforce.

As part of the renewal works, the old line will be replaced with more durable ductile pipes and moved to the roadside. Thus, rapid and effective intervention to possible malfunctions will be ensured.

With the completion of the work, it is aimed to prevent water outages that occur from time to time in Pınarköy and Çamlıca neighborhoods.

It was reported that Muğla Metropolitan Municipality will continue infrastructure investments to provide safer, healthier, and uninterrupted drinking water services to citizens across the province.
