Event in Bodrum attracted attention
Within the scope of June 21 International World Yoga Day, the 12th International Yoga Day events were held at Turgutreis Şevket Sabancı Park. The event attracted great interest from the citizens.
The 12th International Yoga Day event was held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, organized by Bodrum Municipality Department of Culture, Art and Social Affairs and the Consulate General of India.
Council Member Tayyar Gündoğan attended the event on behalf of Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, along with India Istanbul Consul General Mijito Vinito, municipality staff and citizens.
With the aim of spreading the culture of yoga in Bodrum, joint activities were carried out for years with the Consulate General of India to support healthy living, mental balance and social awareness.
Delivering the opening speech, Council Member Tayyar Gündoğan expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event and the participants, stating that they were happy that Bodrum, an important center for healthy living with its nature, climate and lifestyle, hosted this meaningful event.
