Speaking at the opening, Nihal Konçu Akhuy stated that the exhibition includes 50 works by 25 students aged 7-15 and said;
"Our exhibition is themed 'Happy Family Happy Society'. Last year, I wrote a project. As you know, last year was declared 'Year of Family'. Regarding this, the foundation of everything starts in the family for a happy society. We wanted to exhibit 'Happy Family Happy Society' here through the education given to children in the family. We wanted to actually show their own lives by integrating pieces of the children’s experiences into miniature art. The education period was incredibly enjoyable. Because most of the children have been receiving education for 3 years. They have reached a certain stage and gone through a certain path already. When you look at the details, there are also their first works here to show that stage. And since our theme is very 'happy', everyone continued their work smiling and full of happiness."
