Bodrum Municipality is launching a comprehensive district-wide operation to remove idle items, materials, and vehicles that cause visual pollution and occupy public spaces in common use areas.
The operation, to be conducted in coordination with Bodrum Municipality Police Department and Bodrum District Police Department, will remove idle items, materials, and vehicles found in common living areas such as squares, streets, sidewalks, and parks.
In an announcement made by the municipality, citizens were asked to remove their personal materials and idle items occupying common use areas by Tuesday, July 7. It was stated that after the specified date, unclaimed or abandoned materials in common use areas will be removed and cleared by teams.
Within the scope of the operation aiming for a cleaner, more orderly, and livable Bodrum, citizens were called upon to show sensitivity to the shared use of public areas and to support the efforts.
Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci emphasized the great importance of citizen cooperation in the operation launched to protect urban order and make common use areas safer, cleaner, and more organized. Mandalinci called for the removal of personal materials occupying public spaces and causing visual pollution within the specified timeframe.
