Bodrum Jazz Festival Continues
The 5th edition of the International Bodrum Jazz Festival this year continued with the “Lifetime Jazz Awards Concert”.
The 10th International Bodrum Jazz Festival, organized by the Jazz Association with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bodrum Municipality and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, meets music lovers in various venues of the Bodrum Peninsula.
The final stop of the festival was the “Bodrum Jazz All Stars feat. Atakan Ünüvar, Neşet Ruacan, Tahsin Ünüvar, Hakan Behlil, Umut Deniz, Olgun Acar” concert at Inspera. Master musicians presented a musical feast to jazz lovers.
The Lifetime Jazz Awards, given annually by the Jazz Association to jazz artists over the age of 60 who have settled in Bodrum in appreciation, were presented to Atakan Ünüvar. Ünüvar thanked everyone who contributed to the festival in his speech.
Festival Coordinator Selin Demiral, in a statement to Kent Haber, expressed that there was intense interest in all concerts and said;
“We have completed 5 days of our festival. It continues at full speed. From now on, we will be at various venues in Bodrum with very beautiful events and concerts. We invite all Bodrum residents and art lovers. We are especially happy to have realized the 10th International Bodrum Jazz Festival. We included very beautiful, different, and internationally recognized artists from 5 countries. It is very intense and very enjoyable. All our concerts have been sold out for 5 days. This makes us especially happy. The demand is very high. Now, it really seems everyone has been waiting for the jazz festival to come. We see this as well. The attendance is all quite high.”
