Bodrum Municipality started inspection from its own business

Bodrum Municipality began sound and noise inspections to be carried out throughout the district with an exemplary application at Müskebi Wedding Hall operating within its own organization.

Within the scope of the work carried out by the Police Directorate Sound and Noise Inspection Unit teams, the sound systems in Müskebi Wedding Hall were checked and the limiter device application was implemented. Thus, it was ensured that music broadcasts were made within legal limits, while aiming to prevent noise that could be caused to the environment.

Bodrum Municipality initiated the inspection process by first implementing the rules to be applied in businesses and wedding halls throughout the district at its own business.

In the information provided by the teams, it was reminded that the use of limiters is mandatory in establishments and wedding halls broadcasting at high volume, and it was stated that administrative sanctions would be applied within the scope of Law No. 2872 on the Environment in case of non-compliance.

It was reported that sound and noise inspections conducted by the Bodrum Municipality Police Directorate teams will continue at other businesses and wedding halls in the district in accordance with the determined program./İHA
