President Sarıhan: “May our unity and togetherness be everlasting”
Members of the AK Party Fethiye District Presidency and citizens came together at the ashura event held due to the month of Muharram. While messages of unity, togetherness, sharing, and solidarity were conveyed at the event, ashura was served to the participants.
The ashura event emphasizing the blessing of the month of Muharram and the importance of unity and brotherhood was attended by AK Party Fethiye District President Dentist Kadir Sarıhan and district administration, AK Party Fethiye Women's Branch President Halime Karagöz and women’s branch members, neighborhood representatives, party members, and citizens.
At the event, ashura was served to party members and citizens. AK Party Fethiye District President Kadir Sarıhan, who served ashura, said, “The month of Muharram is one of the blessed months in which unity, togetherness, blessing, and sharing are most beautifully experienced. We wish that the blessed Muharram month, a symbol of abundance and prosperity, brings health, peace, unity, and blessing to our country, our nation, and the entire Islamic world.
May God make our unity and togetherness everlasting and grant us to keep our culture of sharing and solidarity alive for generations. I thank our party organization, women's and youth branches who contributed to our ashura event,” he said. Messages of unity and togetherness were delivered at the event. The program ended after the served treats.
