Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci released a message on Father's Day. In his message, Mayor Mandalinci said, "A child's growing journey is shaped by love, effort, patience, and solidarity. Our fathers, who are by their children at every stage of life, listen, support, and empower them, are one of the most important parts of this journey. Fatherhood is a great responsibility undertaken anew every day. Holding a child's hand while instilling a sense of trust, being there when they fall, taking pride in their successes, encouraging them in disappointments, and being able to support them at every stage of life requires great effort. The strongest structure of society, the family, stands with mutual love, respect, and solidarity. Within this solidarity, the efforts of mothers and fathers complement each other, forming a valuable whole that builds the future together. The contribution fathers make to raising our children as happier, more confident, and hopeful individuals holds an important place. Today is the day to thank all fathers who work, labor, sacrifice, and strive for their children’s good life. Our fathers, who consider their children's happiness as their own happiness, take pride in their successes, and are with them whenever needed, are among the best examples of love, responsibility, and solidarity. Father's Day is also a day to remember and lovingly commemorate our fathers who are no longer with us. I respectfully, with mercy and longing, remember all our fathers who left marks in our lives, enlightened our paths with their values, and contributed to bringing us to today with their teachings. On this meaningful day, I wholeheartedly congratulate all our fathers who lovingly guide their children, labor for their families, especially our valuable fathers in the families entrusted to us by our martyrs and our veterans, on Father's Day.
