Full Support from Mayor Aras to Green Crescent in the Fight Against Addiction
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras visited Green Crescent President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dinç and board members. The efforts carried out within the scope of the fight against addiction were evaluated during the meeting.
Coastal Aegean Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras informed Green Crescent President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dinç about joint projects carried out between Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Green Crescent. Muğla Green Crescent Provincial President Abdullah Şenol Şengür also participated in the visit. The meeting especially covered awareness activities organized in districts, efforts in the fight against addiction, and support provided to the Green Crescent Counseling Center (YEDAM).
Mayor Aras: “We Will Continue to Work with Determination”
Mayor Ahmet Aras emphasized that fighting addiction is a shared responsibility concerning all segments of society and stated that they have signed important collaborations with Green Crescent in a short time.
Mayor Aras said, “We carried out awareness activities in our districts and supported the Green Crescent Counseling Center. We will continue working with the same determination going forward. Fighting addiction is the responsibility not only of public institutions but of all sections of society.”
