Minister Kurum: We will also start our bottom sludge cleaning works in Fethiye Bay
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum stated, "After İzmit Bay, we will take another important step and start our bottom sludge cleaning works in Fethiye Bay as well."
Minister Kurum quoted from the social media account of Emine Erdoğan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and noted the following:
"I extend my gratitude to the Honorable Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, who always guides us with her invaluable support for our environmental projects. As in İzmit Bay, we meticulously continue our efforts in every part of our Blue Homeland. Within this scope, after İzmit Bay, we will take another important step and start our bottom sludge cleaning works in Fethiye Bay as well. From İzmit to Fethiye, from Göcek to Marmara, we will protect our seas and safely transfer our blue heritage to future generations."
