Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca made a statement about the forest fire that broke out in Bayır Neighborhood of Seydikemer district and grew due to the effect of strong winds.
Karaca stated in his social media post that they are following the fire with great sadness and concern.
Stating that the fire spread to residential areas due to the effect of strong winds, Karaca emphasized that they are ready to support with all teams and resources as Fethiye Municipality.

"We are following the fire that broke out in Bayır Neighborhood of our Seydikemer district with great sadness and concern. The intervention to the fire, which spread to residential areas due to the effect of strong winds, continues uninterrupted.
