National match excitement will be experienced in the 2,000-year-old ancient city

The World Cup match that the National Football Team will play against Australia will be broadcast on a giant screen at the historic Antiphellos Ancient Theater in Kaş district of Antalya.

Mustafa Erman Günay, President of Kaş Tourism and Promotion Association, stated that the ancient theater where the event will be held is one of the most important historical assets of Kaş.

Günay said that within the scope of the organization planned under the leadership of Kaş District Governor Tevfik Kumbasar, the World Cup match, which will take place on Sunday, June 14 at 07:00, will be brought together with citizens in a historical atmosphere.

Günay pointed out that the theater, built in the 1st century BC during the Hellenistic period, has the distinctive feature of being the only ancient theater in Anatolia with a sea-facing facade, saying, "This is one of the most special and valuable historical places of Kaş. The fact that our match invitation posts on social media were liked and shared by thousands increased the interest in the event even more."

Günay stated that reservation requests have started to come in intensively, that talks with hotel operators are continuing, and that many people have contacted them to participate in the organization and to get detailed information.

Günay conveyed that tea, coffee, and simit will be served to guests participating in the event in the morning hours, and thanked District Governor Kumbasar and the Kaş Film Festival team for their efforts in realizing the organization.
