Seydikemer wrestlers competing in the 665th Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, one of Turkey's most established sports events, brought great pride to the district by winning 4 medals. In addition to the successful results, Muhammed Enes Özcan, wrestling in the Büyük Orta category, reached the final and succeeded in advancing to the Başaltı category.
At the event held in Edirne on July 3-4-5, Muhammed Enes Özcan, one of the athletes representing Seydikemer, took second place in the Big Middle Weight category, and with this result, earned the right to compete in the Lower Weight category starting from the next season.
Other athletes who ranked in the tournament were Y. Ziya Ataçocuğu third in Encouragement 2 Distance, B. Zeki Demir second in Encouragement 1 Distance, and Oğuz Tahancı second in Mini 2 Distance.
Seydikemer Mayor B. Önder Akdenizli stated that the achievements attained in Kırkpınar are a great source of pride for the district and said, "I congratulate all our wrestlers and coaches who successfully represent our district in our ancestral sport of oil wrestling.

With the rankings achieved in Kırkpınar, wrestlers from Seydikemer once again asserted the district's claim in oil wrestling, and the success of young athletes also gave hope for the coming years.
