No Passage for Forest Crimes in Muğla: Inspections Continue at Mobile Control Points

At the mobile control points established in the enterprise directorates affiliated with the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate, various inspections were carried out, especially on vehicles carrying forest products. Within the scope of the practices carried out to protect forest resources, prevent illegal interventions, and combat forest crimes, the teams checked transport documents and shipment procedures.

In a statement from the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate, it was stated that the efforts to combat forest crimes continue uninterrupted.

The statement included, "Inspections were carried out at mobile control points within the scope of protecting our forests from illegal interventions and combating forest crimes. During the mobile control and crime prevention operations conducted on June 5, 2026, at the enterprise directorates affiliated with our Regional Directorate, necessary actions were taken regarding the identified irregularities and deficiencies."

Vehicles Carrying Forest Products Inspected

It was reported that inspections focused particularly on vehicles carrying forest products, checking the dispatch documents and transportation processes for compliance with regulations. It was noted that the teams continue mobile control applications at regular intervals to ensure the transportation of forest products within the legal framework and to prevent illegal forest product trade.

Muğla Forest Regional Directorate officials stated that inspections aimed at protecting the forest assets will continue throughout the year and asked citizens to be sensitive to forest crimes.
