According to meteorological data, Muğla's coastal areas will experience hot and sunny weather, while the inland areas will have oppressive conditions. In the city, where the most intense period of the tourism season is experienced, both residents and holidaymakers were asked to take precautions against high temperatures.
39 degrees expected in Köyceğiz, Milas, Ortaca and Seydikemer
According to forecasts, the hottest districts of Muğla will be Köyceğiz, Milas, Ortaca and Seydikemer. While the air temperature in these districts is expected to reach 39 degrees, it is estimated to be 38 degrees in Dalaman and Yatağan, 35 degrees in Fethiye, Marmaris and Ula, 34 degrees in Datça and Kavaklıdere, 36 degrees in Bodrum and 36 degrees in Menteşe.
Warning not to go outside during noon hours
Meteorology officials advised citizens not to be outdoors unless necessary between 11:00 and 16:00 when the sun's rays are most intense. Experts emphasized that the elderly, children, pregnant women, and citizens with chronic illnesses should be cautious about heatstroke, recommending consuming plenty of fluids, taking sun protection measures, and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
