Art-filled exhibition in Fethiye: 'Musical Painting Exhibition on the Path of Education' opened

The “Musical Painting Exhibition in the Footsteps of Education” consisting of works prepared by the students of Fethiye Science and Art Center throughout the year was presented to art lovers with the opening program held. The exhibition, which opened in the shopping mall and can be visited for two days, features works by students receiving education in painting and music, and the event was prepared under the theme “Silent Stories.”

Deputy Mayor of Fethiye, Veli Uysal, also attended the opening of the exhibition and examined the students' works on site. The event was met with intense interest from art lovers and families. While the students' original painting works attracted great attention from visitors, the performances carried out by music students throughout the day also added a special touch to the exhibition. The exhibition featured works by 25 painting students affiliated with the Fethiye Science and Art Center, with approximately 70 pieces meeting art enthusiasts. 22 students studying in the field of music also contributed to the event with their performances.

“We are proud of our students”

Hasibe Polat Dayıoğlu, Director of Fethiye Science and Art Center, emphasized that the students are gifted individuals and said, “As Fethiye Science and Art Center, we are at this musical exhibition where we display the works we have produced throughout the year in the fields of painting and music together with our students. Our children come to us after passing a two-stage exam. For this reason, they produce very beautiful works. We are waiting for all of you, we are proud of them.” Dayıoğlu stated that the reason for holding the exhibition in the shopping mall was due to weather conditions and the lack of a proper building, saying, “We are in a temporary building. With the support of our philanthropist Mr. Dinçer Akyalı, we will have a permanent building in the coming period and will hold our exhibitions in our own space.”

“We bring our students' efforts together with art lovers”

Music Advisor Aslı Özabalı Gökçeaslan stated that the exhibition was prepared this year with the theme “Silent Stories” and said, “We are at the Music and Painting Exhibition of the Directorate of Fethiye Science and Art Center, On the Path of Education. We bring the works that our students have prepared with effort throughout the year together with art lovers. We are having a day full of art.”

Resim Danışman Öğretmeni Aysun Bolel de serginin hazırlanış sürecine değinerek, “Sergimizin teması Sessiz Hikayeler. Yılın başından beri öğrencilerimizle çok titiz bir çalışma yürüttük. 5-6 Haziran’da tüm sanatseverleri aramızda görmekten mutluluk duyarız” dedi.
