Türk Hava Kurumu Fethiye Şube Başkanlığı ile Karagedik İlkokulu ve Ortaokulu işbirliğinde düzenlenen etkinlikte öğrenciler, model uçak yapımını hem öğrenme, hem de uçurma fırsatı buldu. Türk Hava Kurumu Model Uçak atölyesi çocuklara havacılığı uygulamalı olarak tanıttı.
Türk Hava Kurumu Fethiye Şube Başkanlığı ile Karagedik İlkokulu ve Ortaokulu Müdürlüğü tarafından ortaklaşa düzenlenen etkinlik kapsamında öğrenciler, havacılık kültürüyle erken yaşta tanışma imkanı buldu.
Etkinlik çerçevesinde THK Fethiye Şubesi Model Uçak Rehber Öğretmeni Nursel Özkaya tarafından “Gökçen Planör Model Uçak Yapım Faaliyeti” gerçekleştirildi. Öğrencilerin yoğun ilgi gösterdiği atölye çalışmasında çocuklar, model uçakların temel parçalarını tanıdı, uçuş prensipleri hakkında bilgi aldı ve kendi uçaklarını adım adım kendileri tasarladı.
Uygulamalı eğitim sayesinde öğrenciler yalnızca teorik bilgiyle sınırlı kalmayarak, kendi yaptıkları model uçakları uçurmanın heyecanını da yaşadı. Gökyüzüne yükselen planörler okul bahçesinde renkli ve keyifli görüntüler oluşturdu. Öğrencilerin merak ve heyecanı ise etkinliğe ayrı bir canlılık kattı.
