Turkey's fastest pedal came from Muğla Metropolitan Municipality

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club athlete Samet Bulut became the Turkey Champion in the time trial at the Turkey Road Cycling Championship held in Siirt.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club once again reached the top of the podium after its international success in the Presidential Turkey Cycling Tour.

The Turkey Road Cycling Championship organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation in Siirt witnessed fierce competition among athletes coming from all over the country. A total of 242 athletes from 77 teams participated in the championship.

Bulut Became Turkey Champion

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club athlete Samet Bulut left all his competitors behind with his superior performance in the time trial and became the Turkey Champion. Bulut, who is the pride of both Muğla and the club with this achievement, won the gold medal at one of the most important events of the season.

Consecutive Achievements from Metropolitan Athletes

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continues to make a name for itself with its national and international successes in cycling in recent years. The club’s International Continental Cycling Team also showed an impressive performance in the 61st Presidential Turkey Cycling Tour held between April 26 - May 3, 2026. The team’s successful cyclist Rudolf Remki achieved first place in both the sprint classification and the climbing classification, marking a significant success in the event. Samet Bulut's Turkey Championship once again demonstrated the steady rise of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club in cycling and the return on investment made in its athletes.
