Faculty of Fisheries Bid Farewell to Graduates of 2025-2026 with a Ceremony
MSKU Faculty of Fisheries bid farewell to their graduates within the scope of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) Faculty of Fisheries held the 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony at the faculty building.
The ceremony was attended by Faculty of Fisheries Dean Prof. Dr. Ertan Ercan, Muğla Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Seyfettin Baydar, faculty members and families.
The program started with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem and continued with speeches.
Expressing pride in their students, Faculty of Fisheries Dean Prof. Dr. Ertan Ercan stated that Fisheries Engineering will come to the forefront in the upcoming period and that the sector is a lively sector.
Giving advice to the students, Dean Prof. Ercan said, “We send you off as graduates who will guide the Fisheries sector. We have no doubt you will practice your profession in the best way possible. We are proud of you. May you have a future as deep as the seas and as bright as science.”
Top student Emine Şirin gave a graduation speech and then placed her nameplate on the graduation plaque.
Later, students who ranked and graduate students were invited to the stage and their diplomas were presented by faculty members.
Continuing with the cake ceremony, students celebrated their graduation by throwing their caps into the air. The ceremony ended with various refreshments.
