Faculty of Sports Sciences Proudly Sends Off Its Graduates
MSKU Faculty of Sports Sciences saw off its students graduating in the 2025-2026 Academic Year to their new professional lives.
The Graduation Ceremony of the 2025-2026 Academic Year of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) Faculty of Sports Sciences was held on Friday, June 19, at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
The ceremony started with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, and students took the stage with Turkish flags.
Then, a musical performance was presented to the attendees by one of our university's first graduates from the Physical Education and Sports School, Uygar Karaca, and Fatih Cengiz, a teacher from Muğla Fine Arts High School, providing enjoyable moments.
Following this, the zeybek dance performance by Lecturer Ahmet Elmastaş on stage received great admiration.
During the ceremony, which continued with speeches, the faculty top student and Physical Education and Sports Department student Muhammed Şahin delivered the graduation speech.
Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Özcan Saygın, congratulated the graduates and expressed their pride in training the athletes of the future.
Prof. Dr. Saygın wished success in their new lives, saying to the students, "Wherever you go, MSKU Faculty of Sports Sciences will continue to be your home."
After the speeches, certificates of achievement were awarded to the students who ranked in their departments.
At the ceremony, a plaque was also presented to National Archer Hazal Burun, who successfully represented our University as a European and World champion.
Finally, representative diplomas were presented to the graduates by the faculty members.
The ceremony concluded with the cap throwing ceremony, and the graduates were sent off to their new professional lives with pride.
