While the congress process in the green-white club has been extended by a week, it remains uncertain whether the current president Menaf Kıyanç will be a candidate.

“As a result of the consultation held with the Muğla provincial protocol on June 1, 2026, regarding the Ordinary Congress and the future of our Muğlaspor, it was decided to establish a commission and for this commission to follow the process. In accordance with the requests made to our board of directors with the approval of the provincial protocol by the relevant commission; our Ordinary General Assembly meeting, which was planned to be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 18:30, has been postponed to Friday, June 12, 2026, at 18:30, due to the observed necessity.
The Ordinary General Assembly meeting will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 18:30, at the same location and with the same agenda items as previously announced.

Uncertainty Continues Regarding Menaf Kıyanç
Meanwhile, it remains uncertain whether the current president Menaf Kıyanç will be a candidate at Muğlaspor. Having previously given negative signals about candidacy, curiosity persists about what decision Kıyanç will make following the postponement of the congress process.
