The Muğla protocol gathered for Muğlaspor, which made a historic achievement in Muğla by being promoted to the 1st League. At the meeting chaired by Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık, the new season goals of the green-white team, sustainable success planning, and the inter-institutional support process were discussed. The meeting became even more critical after President Menaf Kıyanç announced he would not run in the congress.
A comprehensive evaluation meeting was held as part of the preparations for the new season for Muğlaspor, which was promoted to the 1st League for the first time in its history, attracted attention with its consecutive championships for 3 seasons, and made a rare achievement in Turkish sports history. At the meeting chaired by Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık, Muğlaspor's goals and roadmap for the new season were discussed. During the meeting, efforts that could be made to establish a permanent and successful structure for the club in the 1st League were evaluated.
Emphasis on Cooperation for Sustainable Success
One of the main agenda items of the meeting was the steps that would contribute to Muğlaspor's sustainable success. Inter-institutional cooperation processes were discussed for the club to gain a stronger structure in sporting, corporate, and economic terms. It was emphasized that Muğlaspor is not only a football club but also an important representative power in terms of Muğla's brand value, and it was aimed to create a strong unity in the new season with the support of all dynamics of the city.
On the other hand, Muğlaspor President Menaf Kıyanç recently announced at a press conference that he would not run for re-election at the ordinary general assembly to be held on Friday, June 5th. Following Kıyanç's decision, the protocol meeting held became even more important in terms of the club's new season structuring and management process.
In addition to Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık, the meeting was attended by Menteşe District Governor Mehmet Eriş, Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras, AK Party Muğla Deputy Kadem Mete, Muğla Youth and Sports Provincial Director Musa Kazım Açıkbaş, Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bülent Karakuş, Muğlaspor President Menaf Kıyanç and his management, and political party representatives.
