They Started a Hunger Strike for Muğlaspor
After the uncertainty regarding the congress process and Menaf Kıyanç’s candidacy at Muğlaspor, fans started a hunger strike at Sınırsızlık Square.
1967 Muğlaspor Supporters Association President Emirhan Kıbrıslı and former Muğlaspor Club President Sabri Dinçer’s nephew and association member Onur Dinçer started a hunger strike at Sınırsızlık Square in Menteşe district of Muğla.
“Muğlaspor Is Always Left on the Shoulders of One Person”
1967 Muğlaspor Supporters Association President Emirhan Kıbrıslı stated in his remarks that Muğlaspor should not be left only to the responsibility of certain individuals.
Kıbrıslı said the following in his statement:
“Muğlaspor is always left on the shoulders of one person during the congress. This job is not only with Menaf Kıyanç and the managers. The two of us think forever that we truly support Muğlaspor both inside and outside. From today on, we are starting the allowance strike. Whenever there is a movement in the city, whenever there is unity in the city, whenever we get a promise for something, then we will abandon this. We are at Sınırsızlık Square. We are waiting here for everyone who supports us and stands with us.”
Meanwhile, some Muğlaspor fans also supported the hunger strike by sending black wreaths. This support for the action at Sınırsızlık Square expressed the reaction of the fans regarding the congress process and the club’s future.
