Aras Turan from Muğla became third in open water swimming in Turkey and was selected for the national team
Aras Turan, an athlete from Muğla Athletic Sports Club who ranked third in the Turkey Open Water Swimming Summer Championship and National Team Selection Competitions held in Marmaris district of Muğla, was selected for the national team.
"Turkey Open Water Swimming Summer Championship and National Team Selection Competitions 11-12-13 Age Development Group Summer Competitions" organized by the Turkish Swimming Federation were held at the İçmeler Facilities in Marmaris district of Muğla from June 2 to 5.
In the competitions supported by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Aras Turan, an athlete of Muğla Athletic Sports Club, finished third in the Boys 3000 Meters Open Water category in the 13-year-old category and was selected for the national team.
In a statement made via social media by the club, it was said, "We congratulate our athlete Aras Turan, especially our coaches Tahsin Paşa Gül and Baran Bahri Gül, and wish them continued success".
