Little Ones Pedaled in Muğla

World Bicycle Day on June 3 was celebrated with a colorful event at Şemsiana Kindergarten in Muğla. In the program organized by the Muğla Provincial Representation of the Turkish Cycling Federation, young students received bicycle training, and a small race was held for the children. At the end of the event, all students were awarded medals.

The Muğla Provincial Representation of the Turkish Cycling Federation marked a meaningful event to instill a love of cycling at an early age in children within the scope of World Bicycle Day on June 3. At the event held at Şemsiana Kindergarten, basic bicycle riding training was provided to kindergarten students. The program, held in the traffic-closed schoolyard, attracted intense interest from the children, creating colorful scenes.

Children both learned and raced

During the event, practical information on bicycle use was conveyed to the young students. After the training, a small bicycle race was organized among the children. During the race, students experienced fun moments and had the opportunity to enjoy cycling in a safe environment. High participation was observed at the event.

Medals awarded to all students

At the end of the World Bicycle Day celebration, medals were presented to all students who participated in the event. Special gifts were given to the students who ranked in the race. The excitement and happiness of the little ones drew attention, while the event in the schoolyard was also closely followed by parents and teachers.

"We want to instill a love of cycling at an early age"

İlker Cömert, Muğla Representative of the Cycling Federation, stated that their aim in the event was to instill a love of cycling in children from a young age. Cömert thanked the Menteşe District Directorate of National Education and the Menteşe Youth and Sports District Directorate for their support to the organization. He also expressed his gratitude to the school principal, administrators, and teachers for their contributions.
