The fact that export figures exceeded imports showed that Muğla made a positive contribution to the foreign trade balance. The performance of sectors engaged in production for export, especially agriculture, mining, seafood, natural stone and marble, as well as fruits and vegetables, continued to make an important contribution to the province's foreign trade volume.
