Muğla Continental Cycling Team is going to Portugal

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras' "World City Muğla" motto established Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Continental Cycling Team, which showed itself in many national and international organizations such as the Presidential Cycling Tour, Tour of Azerbaijan within a short period of 6 months, is preparing for another international race. The team, which brought the Turkish Championship to Muğla, will compete in the 49th Grand Prix de Torres Vedras to be held in Portugal between July 8-13, 2026. In the event, where 20 prestigious teams from Europe and America will participate, 140 athletes will pedal. The race, which will start on July 10 in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, will end in Western Portugal on July 12.

"We will represent our country and province in the best way"

Muğla Continental Cycling Team General Coordinator İlker Cömert stated that the team is in very good form and said they will participate in a challenging race.

Cömert said, "Getting an invitation from such a race is extremely important for our country and province. Competing in this race, which includes important teams from countries such as America, Spain, England, Portugal, and the Philippines, is a source of pride for us as a Turkish team. I believe we will represent our province and country in the best way."
