All Schools Will Pause Education on Friday Due to LGS
Before the High School Transition System (LGS) exam, which will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 by the Ministry of National Education, education will be paused for one day in all schools.
Due to the LGS exam being held on Saturday, June 13, preparations for the exam will be completed thoroughly, and on Friday, June 12, 2026, all primary, secondary, and high schools will pause education for one day across Turkey as well as in Muğla.
It was stated that the decision was taken to ensure the healthy conduct of exam organizations, to prepare school buildings for the exam, and to allow students to comfortably complete their final preparations before the exam.
While school administrations and relevant institutions continue their preparations before the LGS, which thousands of students across Muğla will attend, students and parents will also complete their necessary checks before the exam day.
Moreover, it was requested that students participating in the exam prepare their exam entrance documents and identification cards in advance and take necessary precautions on the exam day to avoid any issues.
