Championship Statement from İrfan Saraloğlu in Fethiye

Participating in the championship celebrations organized by the Fethiye Galatasaray Supporters Association, Saraloğlu emphasized that team spirit and club organization have played a significant role in Galatasaray's successes in recent years.

Success Is a Joint Work of All Units

Noting that football players are the visible face of football but that behind the success there is a large team effort, Saraloğlu said, "Each unit needs to show 100% performance. Although the players are in the foreground, the coaching staff, trainers, physiotherapists, club employees, and equipment managers are all part of this success. When all units work towards the same goal, the team's chance of success rises to a much higher level." Saraloğlu also noted that the success chart improved as players responded correctly to the coaching staff's directions and that championships were shaped in this way.

I Am Hopeful for the National Team

Commenting on the future of the A National Football Team, Saraloğlu said Turkish football has caught an important generation. He pointed out that it is not important from which club a player comes to the national team but the performance of players who love their country and profession on the field. Saraloğlu expressed, "I believe players who carry the Turkish spirit, love football, and are loyal to their country will succeed. We have caught a good generation. Leading them is the very valuable coach Vincenzo Montella. I wish him and our national team success." 

We Are Creating a Team Our Fans Will Be Proud Of

Emphasizing that Galatasaray fans are the club's greatest strength, Saraloğlu said they want to bring championship joy to the yellow-red community again in the new season. "We are proud of our fans. We are trying to create a team and style of play that they will be proud of," Saraloğlu said and added: "Although there are ups and downs from time to time, our goal is always to win. We want to reflect football that will make our fans happy on the field. By playing better games and making fewer mistakes, we aim to win the 5th consecutive championship in a way worthy of Galatasaray."

Fethiye Has Changed a Lot

Stating that he has come back to Fethiye after many years, Saraloğlu said he was impressed by the development in the district. Recalling that he vacationed in Fethiye about 35 years ago during his youth, Saraloğlu said, "We had very beautiful memories here at that time. This time, I saw a great change. Fethiye is no longer just a holiday resort; it has become a very beautiful place with a city identity. I am very happy to be here."
