Fenerbahçe reached its 13th championship

Fenerbahçe Beko hosted Beşiktaş in the 4th match of the Basketball Super League playoff final series. While the first half of the match ended with Beşiktaş leading 45-40, Fenerbahçe won with a score of 77-75. The yellow-navy blue team brought the trophy home for the 3rd consecutive time and the 13th time in total. Fenerbahçe won its first championship in the Basketball Super League in 1991 and then clinched the title in the 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2021-2022, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons as well, concluding this season with another championship.

The yellow-navy blues, who had lost in the last 4 finals of this competition, defeated Beşiktaş 85-83 this time to reach the happy ending. On February 22, Jasikevicius's students faced Beşiktaş again in the Turkish Cup final, and by defeating their opponent 91-74, Fenerbahçe won the Turkish Cup for the 3rd consecutive time and 10th overall. Fenerbahçe also won its 3rd trophy of the season by securing a 3-1 series lead against Beşiktaş in the Super League final series.

Fenerbahçe's Lithuanian head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius experienced the joy of championship in all 3 seasons leading the yellow-navy blue team. Sarunas, who served as a player at Fenerbahçe in the 2010-2011 season, earned both the Turkish Cup and Turkish League championships in one season. Jasikevicius, who took over as head coach in December 2023, made history by becoming champion in 2024 as both a player and head coach.
